Yongchun Shui Xian Oolong (Hundred-Year Old Bush)
Crafted under Cha Zhi Ji’s supervision using traditional methods, this Yongchun Shui Xian comes from old bushes approaching a century in age. Yongchun, in southern Fujian—the cradle of Minnan Shui Xian—offers a mild, humid climate and abundant rainfall that suit tea trees perfectly. These deep-rooted old bushes draw minerals from the subsoil, giving the cup impressive depth and persistence.
- Origin: Yongchun, Fujian, China
- Style: Oolong, medium fermentation & medium roast (traditional)
- Appearance: Naturally curled, tight and plump leaves with a glossy sheen
- Aroma: Refined, elegant florals with a gentle sweetness
- Taste: Mellow and clean with mineral undertones; smooth mouthfeel, salivating finish and lingering aftertaste
