These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Cha Zhi Ji website (the “Site”) and your purchases from THE FINE CUP ENTERPRISE, a registered business in Malaysia (BRN: 202303303856), located at:

Cha Zhi Ji is a brand owned by Cha Zhi Ji Sdn Bhd and used here under authorization.

By accessing this Site or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or of legal age in your jurisdiction to make a purchase or subscribe. You agree that all information provided is accurate and complete.

2. Products & Pricing

  • All teas and teaware are described as accurately as possible, though natural variations may occur.
  • Prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD) for international customers. Conversion rates may vary based on your payment provider.
  • You are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or local regulations imposed by your country.

3. Tea Subscription Service

Our Golden Series Whole-Leaf Pyramid Teabag Subscription (“Subscription”) includes:

  • Free Trial: One free month of tea (shipping fees apply). One trial per household or payment method.
  • Auto-Renewal: Plans auto-renew at your selected frequency. Your default payment method will be charged.
  • Manage or Cancel: Modify, pause, or cancel any time via your account. Changes must be submitted at least 48 hours before the next renewal.
  • Failed Payments: We retry once. If the charge fails again, your subscription and discounts may be suspended.
  • No Refunds: Subscription payments are final once a billing cycle starts.

4. Orders & Shipping

  • Orders ship within 1–3 business days (excluding Malaysian holidays).
  • Delivery timelines vary based on international location and customs clearance.
  • Risk of loss transfers to you once the package is handed to the international courier, subject to the Lost Parcels & Shipping Liability terms below.
  • Ensure your shipping details are accurate. We are not responsible for failed delivery due to address issues, refusal to pay customs duties, or failure to collect the parcel.

4A. Lost Parcels & Shipping Liability

Once your order has been dispatched from our fulfilment centre and handed to the courier, it enters the international shipping network. While we work with reputable partners, delays and losses can occasionally occur. This section explains how such cases are handled.

(a) Reporting a Suspected Lost Parcel

If you believe your parcel is severely delayed or lost, you must notify us in writing within the following timeframes:

  • Domestic (Malaysia): within 14 days from the shipping date.
  • International: within 30 days from the shipping date.

Your notice should include your order number, tracking number, full name, shipping address, and contact details. We will then open an investigation with the courier.

(b) Parcels Lost Within Malaysia

  • We will resend the same goods to you at no additional shipping cost.
  • If the original items are no longer available, we may offer a replacement of similar value or a store credit for the value of the goods (excluding the original shipping fee).

(c) Parcels Lost in the Customer’s Country

If tracking confirms that the parcel has left Malaysia and the parcel is subsequently lost, misrouted, held, or undelivered within the destination country (including postal systems, customs, or last-mile couriers), the following applies:

  • We will not issue refunds (partial or full).
  • We will not resend or replace the parcel.

(d) Situations Not Treated as Lost Parcels

The following situations are not considered “lost parcels” and are not eligible for refund or replacement:

  • Tracking shows “Delivered” but the parcel cannot be located.
  • The parcel is returned or held because customs duties or taxes were unpaid.
  • The parcel cannot be delivered due to an incorrect or incomplete address.
  • The parcel is held, seized, or destroyed by customs or local authorities.
  • A claim is submitted after the reporting timeframe.

(e) Shipping Fees & Optional Insurance

Shipping fees are non-refundable, including in cases of delay or confirmed loss.

For high-value or rare items (vintage teas, aged Liu Bao, Pu-erh, limited teapots, etc.), you may contact us about optional shipping insurance, where available.

5. Returns & Refunds

  • Teas are non-returnable unless damaged or sent in error.
  • Teaware may be returned within 7 days, unused and in original packaging.

6. Reviews & Lucky Draw 2025

  • Leave a review for any product purchased between 1 Jan – 30 Dec 2025 to enter our Lucky Draw.
  • 1 review = 1 entry (one review per product).
  • Draw date: 31 Dec 2025, 10 PM MYT
  • Winners will be announced via newsletter, Instagram, and Facebook.

7. Intellectual Property

All text, images, product visuals, and branding are the property of THE FINE CUP ENTERPRISE or Cha Zhi Ji Sdn Bhd. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for indirect or incidental damages related to your use of our Site or products. Our total liability is limited to the purchase price of the product, consistent with the shipping and lost parcel limitations in Section 4A.

9. Shopify Services & Enhanced Network Intelligence

Our store is hosted on Shopify. By using this Site, you acknowledge that Shopify processes certain data necessary to operate the platform, including fraud prevention, security, analytics, checkout, and payments.

We have enabled Shopify Network Intelligence and other Shopify “Enhanced Services.” This means that Shopify may use aggregated or anonymized data from our store together with data from other Shopify merchants to:

  • improve security and fraud detection;
  • enhance product recommendations and personalization;
  • provide network-level analytics and insights;
  • optimize platform performance and advertising tools.

These processes are handled by Shopify directly. We do not gain access to any other merchant’s data, and other merchants cannot access yours. All processing is subject to Shopify’s privacy and data-protection practices.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. International customers agree to resolve disputes under Malaysian jurisdiction unless required otherwise by their local consumer laws.

11. Updates to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our Site indicates your acceptance of any updated Terms posted here.
