Frequently Asked Questions
Products & Storage
What makes your Liu Bao teas special?
Our Liu Bao collection includes carefully selected aged teas from the 1980s–2000s, stored under stable conditions and released in limited quantities. Many are vintage or collector-grade lots.
Are your teabags made with nylon?
No. We use biodegradable corn-fibre pyramid bags that are food-safe, heat-resistant, and eco-friendly. There is no nylon in our teabags.
How should I store my tea?
Keep tea in a cool, dry place away from light, moisture, and strong odours. Avoid the fridge. Pu-erh and Liu Bao can continue to age and evolve if stored in a clean, breathable environment.
How do I care for Yixing purple clay teapots and kettles?
Always rinse without soap or detergent and dedicate one vessel to one tea type (for example: one pot just for Wuyi rock tea). Over time, the clay will season and enhance the aroma of your tea. For a step-by-step routine, see: How to Clean Your Yixing Teapot Daily .
Shipping & Orders
Where do you ship to?
We ship worldwide via EMS (Express Mail Service) from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Available countries and rates are shown at checkout. For more details and shipping zones, see our Shipping Policy.
Do I have to pay customs or import taxes?
Yes. International customers are responsible for any customs duties, VAT, or import taxes charged by their country. These charges are not included in our product prices or shipping fees.
When will my order arrive?
Orders are usually processed within 2–5 business days. Transit time depends on your destination and local customs processing. Any delays caused by customs or local postal services are unfortunately outside our control.
What happens if my parcel is delayed or lost?
All parcels include tracking. If you suspect a serious delay, please contact us with your order number and tracking ID. For full details, including how we handle lost parcels in Malaysia vs. overseas, please refer to our Shipping Policy.
Why are prices different between the Malaysia and International stores?
Cha Zhi Ji operates separate regional sales channels. Product prices are independently established for each market and may therefore differ between our Malaysia and International stores. Prices are not intended to be direct currency conversions. Malaysia-store pricing applies to orders delivered within Malaysia, while International-store pricing applies to orders delivered outside Malaysia. Learn more
