Today, we are formalising that relationship with the launch of our VIP Programme.
What is the Cha Zhi Ji VIP Programme?
The VIP Programme is our way of thanking customers who have made Cha Zhi Ji a regular part of their tea journey. It is not a points system. It is not a tier of badges. It is a permanent 15% discount and free shipping, quietly applied to every order — as a recognition of your loyalty.
VIP members receive:
- 15% off every order, applied automatically at checkout
- Free shipping from just $500 — well below our standard $1,500 threshold
Who qualifies?
VIP status is earned, not applied for. If your spending with us reaches USD 1,000 within a 12-month period, you will automatically receive VIP status. No form to fill. No code to enter. It just happens.
How does the discount work?
Your 15% VIP discount and free shipping are applied automatically at checkout. You never need to enter a code.
During sales and promotions, you will always receive the better of the two — your 15% VIP rate, or the sale rate, whichever is higher. You will never be worse off during a sale.
How long does VIP status last?
VIP status is valid for 12 months from the date it is granted. To renew for another year, a minimum spend of USD 800 is required within your VIP year. If the threshold is met, your status renews automatically.
What if I don't maintain the minimum spend?
Your VIP status will expire at the end of the 12-month period. You are always welcome to re-earn it by reaching the entry threshold again.
When will I know if I am a VIP member?
If you qualify now or become eligible in the future, you will receive a personal email from us welcoming you to the programme. The discount will be active on your next order.

We looked carefully at our customer base before setting these thresholds. We wanted the programme to be meaningful — exclusive enough to feel like a recognition, accessible enough that it genuinely reflects our most loyal customers rather than just the highest spenders.
